​BOOM: Newsweek Fires Reporter For Falsely Claiming Trump Golfed For Thanksgiving After Backlash

   So-called news company Newsweek fired reporter Jessica Kwong who falsely claimed in an article that President Donald Trump was "tweeting" and "golfing" for Thanksgiving when he was visiting U.S. troops in Afghanistan in a surprise visit.

   The article was titled, "How is Trump Spending Thanksgiving? Tweeting, Golfing, and More." The article faced a backlash from many.

    The article was later updated to "How Did Trump Spend Thanksgiving? Tweeting, Golfing–and Surprising U.S. Troops in Afghanistan." 

Newsweek wrote in a statement to Breitbart News:
