The Justice Department announced the release of a redacted version of special counsel Robert Mueller's report will be released on Thursday. While testifying before the Senate, Attorney General William Barr said the report would be released "next week."
President Donald Trump said last week, "As far as I’m concerned, I don’t care about the Mueller report. I’ve been totally exonerated." The Department of Justice released a four-page letter to Capitol Hill lawmakers less than a month ago. Attorney General William Barr said special counsel Robert Mueller found no collusion between the Trump's presidential campaign and Russia in 2016. "The special counsel's investigation did not find that the Trump campaign or anyone associated with it conspired or coordinated with Russia in its effort," Barr wrote. "The Special Counsel did not find that any U.S. person or Trump campaign official or associate conspired or knowingly coordinated" with Russia, Barr writes. "The Special Counsel, therefore, did not draw a conclusion - one way or the other - as to whether the examined conduct constituted obstruction," Barr wrote.
