Liberal anti-gun activist David Hogg embarrassed himself, begging Canadians to donate to American political campaigns, which is against the law. Hogg asked an audience of Canadians, "Who’s ready to save America? Who’s ready to make America the country that we say it is on paper and make it the actual country that it wants to be?”
Hogg received an awkward applause, few applauding. Hogg rambled on, "I think the most important thing to realize, however, is the problems that we face in a country.” As Hogg struggled, Michael Moore tried his best not to look embarrassed. After an awkward silence, Hogg added, "I think Canadians can donate to political campaigns in the United States.” Hogg looked to Moore, Moore shook his head. Embarrassed Hogg said, "They can’t? Well, uh, vote here!”
