GLOVES-OFF: Trump Exposes Dems: 'Not An Impeachment, It's A COUP'

President Donald Trump slammed Democrats on Tuesday afternoon in a tweet for launching an impeachment inquiry. Trump said what's taking place "is not impeachment, it is a COUP."

"As I learn more and more each day, I am coming to the conclusion that what is taking place is not an impeachment, it is a COUP, intended to take away the Power of the People, their VOTE, their Freedoms, their Second Amendment, Religion, Military, Border Wall, and their God-given rights as a Citizen of The United States of America," Trump wrote.

Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi launched an impeachment inquiry into President Donald Trump on Tuesday due to a phone call between Trump and the newly elected Ukrainian President about corrupt 2020 Democrat presidential candidate Joe Biden and his son's ties to Ukraine.

"Today I'm announcing the House of Representatives is moving forward with an official impeachment inquiry," Pelosi said.

"This week, the president has admitted to asking the president of Ukraine to take actions which would benefit him politically," Pelosi added.

"The actions of the Trump presidency revealed dishonorable facts of the president's betrayal of his oath of office, betrayal of national security and betrayal of the integrity of our elections," Trump continued.

Trump responded to the impeachment inquiry by announcing he'll release the transcripts of the phone call, squashing the Democrats' hopes.
