The attorney for adult-film actress Stormy Daniels, Michael Avenatti, often called "Creepy Porn Lawyer" is back in the news. Avenatti announced over Twitter that he won't run for President in 2020. "After consultation with my family and at their request, I have decided not to seek the Presidency of the United States in 2020. I do not make this decision lightly — I make it out of respect for my family. But for their concerns, I would run," Avenatti wrote in a statement.
"I will continue to represent Stormy Daniels and others against Donald Trump and his cronies and will not rest until Trump is removed from office, and our republic and its values are restored. I will also continue with my nearly twenty years of speaking truth to power and representing those who need an advocate against the powerful," Avenatti added.
"In one breath, certain media outlets state I will have no bearing on the 2020 race and am not a threat. But they continue to write click bait 'hit pieces' meant to discredit me. Which one is it, because it can't be both? If I’m not a threat, go to pieces on other 'viable' candidates," Avenatti wrote.
