Thanks to President Donald Trump's deal with Mexico to help stop illegal immigrants from entering the country has paid off. According toThe Washington Examiner, apprehensions of illegal migrants plummeted by 37,500.
"Exactly 94,487 people were arrested crossing between ports of entry in Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, and California last month. The massive decline comes after 132,000 illegal entrants were arrested in May on the southern border, the highest number in one month since March 2006," The Washington Examiner reported.
President Trump took to Twitter to respond to the news, writing, "I would like to thank the President of Mexico, Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador, and his foreign minister, Marcelo Ebrard, together with all of the many representatives of both the United States and Mexico, for working so long and hard to get our agreement on immigration completed!"
