Trump's wall will help many cities that are bordering Mexico, the wall will help El Paso especially! Federal data shows the metal fence built under the Bush Administration has dramatically helped stop illegal crossings and crime in El Paso, which borders the high crime Mexican city of Juarez. The amount of deportable illegal immigrants located by US Border Patrol plummeted by 89% during the five years which the controversial new fence was build.
When the project first started in 2006, illegal crossings totaled at 122,261, but by 2010, when the 131 mile long fence was done from one end of El Paso out into the New Mexican desert, immigrant crossings shrank to just 12,251. El Paso hit a low of 9,678 in 2012, before slowly gaining up to a total of 25,193 illegal immigrants last year. Just imagine what Trump's border wall will do to help El Paso and, all the other cities bordering Mexico.
