Socialist Sen. Bernie Sanders is leading the Democrat pack for the 2020 presidential nomination, according to a new poll released on Monday. Even though Sanders is leading the Democrats, he would still lose to President Donald Trump.
According to an Emerson poll, Sanders is leading the Democrat pack with 29 percent. Biden came in second with 24 percent. South Bend Indiana Mayor Pete Buttigieg came in third with 9 percent. Failed Senate candidate Beto O'Rourke and Sen. Kamala Harris are tied for fourth with 8 percent. Finally, in last place, Sen. Elizabeth Warren with 7 percent. According to Rasmussen Reports, President Trump's approval rating is currently at 50 percent, two points higher than former President Barack Obama at the same point in his presidency.
President Trump slammed Democrats on Twitter on Monday, writing, "The Radical Left Democrats will never be satisfied with anything we give them. They will always Resist and Obstruct!"
