President Donald Trump on Saturday fought against social media censorship of conservatives. Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter have banned many conservative voices recently.
Facebook banned conservative activist Laura Loomer. Twitter banned conservative actor James Woods. Facebook censored conservative voices Diamond and Silk. Facebook banned conservative YouTuber, Paul Joseph Watson. Instagram banned the owner of INFOWARS, Alex Jones. Facebook said any user that shares INFOWARS content will be banned. "I am continuing to monitor the censorship of AMERICAN CITIZENS on social media platforms. This is the United States of America — and we have what’s known as FREEDOM OF SPEECH! We are monitoring and watching, closely," Trump wrote.
How did Trump respond to the censorship of INFOWARS? He retweeted an INFOWARS video on Twitter writing, "So great to watch this!"
Trump retweeted an article from Breitbart covering the censorship of James Woods. Trump retweeted two tweets from Paul Joseph Watson. "So surprised to see Conservative thinkers like James Woods banned from Twitter, and Paul Watson banned from Facebook," Trump wrote
Trump blasted Facebook censorship of Diamond and Silk writing, "The wonderful Diamond and Silk have been treated so horribly by Facebook. They work so hard and what has been done to them is very sad - and we’re looking into. It’s getting worse and worse for Conservatives on social media!"
