President Donald Trump responded to the protests, and the attacks Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh received from the Democrats. Trump slammed the Democrats for a "despicable" display. Starting off with the Senate Judiciary Committee proceedings, protests started. The protests started with a despicable woman screaming, "If you vote for Brett Kavanaugh, we will replace you."
According to Fox News, the Democrats interrupted the proceedings 63 times before the lunch break. The Democrat the caused the most problems was New Jersey Democrat Cory Booker. According to NothJersey.com, Booker said, "It seems so clear that in your courts, the same folks seem to win over and over again: The powerful, the privileged, big corporations, special interests."
Trump responded to the events tweeting, "The Brett Kavanaugh hearings for the future Justice of the Supreme Court are truly a display of how mean, angry, and despicable the other side is. They will say anything, and are only looking to inflict pain and embarrassment to one of the most highly renowned jurists to ever appear before Congress. So sad to see!"
