President Donald Trump spoke to reporters on Friday morning. Trump confirmed ICE will start deportation raids of illegal aliens on Sunday. Trump says ICE is “focused on criminals.”
“It starts on Sunday, and they’re going to take people out and they’re going to bring them back to their countries,” Trump said. “We’re focused on criminals as much as we can, before we do anything else,” Trump added. The New York Times reported ICE plans to capture 200 illegal aliens with final deportation orders. This comes after Trump announced a two-week delay for the planned deportations of illegal aliens. Trump put the deportations on hold "at the request of Democrats" in order to see if a solution on Asylum and Loopholes can be made.
