In an interview with the New York Post on Wednesday, President Donald Trump clarified that pardoning former campaign chairman, Paul Manafort is "not off the table." "It was never discussed, but I wouldn't take it off the table," Trump said.
This comes after special counsel Robert Mueller accused Manafort of lying to them after making a plea deal. Trump then blasted Mueller for asking former adviser Roger Stone and Jerome Corsi to lie to the special counsel. Trump said, "If you told the truth, you go to jail."
