President Donald Trump slammed the mainstream media on Saturday for claiming he called a military strike to Iran "back."
"I never called the strike against Iran 'BACK,' as people are incorrectly reporting, I just stopped it from going forward at this time," Trump wrote.
The New York Times released a false report on Thursday claiming Trump ordered a military strike against Iran and then called it back after hearing it would kill at least 150 Iranians.
"There was a plane with 38 people yesterday. Did you see that? I think that's a big story. They had it in their sights, and they didn't shoot it down," Trump said on Saturday. "I think they were very wise not to do that. And we appreciate that they didn't do that. I think that was a very wise decision," Trump added.
