President Donald Trump is demanding an investigation into Rep. Elijah Cumming's Baltimore district. Trump wrote in a tweet on Tuesday money meant for Baltimore has been "stolen or wasted."
"Baltimore’s numbers are the worst in the United States on Crime and the Economy. Billions of dollars have been pumped in over the years, but to no avail," Trump wrote.
"The money was stolen or wasted. Ask Elijah Cummings where it went. He should investigate himself with his Oversight Committee," Trump added. Trump slammed Rep. Elijah Cummings in a string of tweets on Saturday for being a "brutal bully" of Border Patrol. Trump said Cummings should fix his "dangerous," "filthy," "rat and rodent infested mess" Baltimore district.
