President Donald Trump fired back against a statement from Republican in name only (RHINO) Sen. Mitt Romney on Saturday. Romney said he was "sickened" by the "dishonesty" of Trump.
"I am sickened at the extent and pervasiveness of dishonesty and misdirection by individuals in the highest office of the land, including the President. I am also appalled that, among other things, fellow citizens working in a campaign for president welcomed help from Russia," Romney wrote.
"Reading the report is a sobering revelation of how far we have strayed from the aspirations and principles of the founders," Romney added.
In response, Trump humiliated Mitt Romney with a hilarious montage attacking Romney for losing to former President Barack Obama.
"If @MittRomney spent the same energy fighting Barack Obama as he does fighting Donald Trump, he could have won the race (maybe)," Trump wrote. Attorney General William Barr released the redacted version of special counsel Robert Mueller's report on collusion between President Donald Trump's 2016 campaign and Russia. Barr held a press conference on Thursday before releasing the report. A month prior, Barr released a four-page summary of the Mueller Report's findings. The Mueller probe failed to find any evidence proving President Trump committed a crime. "The evidence we obtained about the President’s actions and intent present difficult issues that prevent us from conclusively determining that no criminal conduct occurred. Accordingly, while this report does not conclude that the President committed a crime, it also does not exonerate him," the report states.
