President Donald Trump slashed the number of foreign refugees entering the United States in 2018. President Trump cut over 75 percent of the inflow. In 2018, the Trump administration admitted nearly 22,900 refugees to the United States.
70 percent of the refugees allowed in are Christians. Less than 15 percent of them were Muslim. This is the largest cutback of admissions in about four decades. Under former President Barack Obama, Christians made up less than 40 percent of annual refugee admissions, according to Breitbart.
