Ukrainian prosecutor general Ruslan Ryaboshapka announced in a press conference on Friday he will review several cases one of which that includes 2020 Democrat presidential candidate former Vice President Joe Biden's son, Hunter Biden's connections to the gas company where he served on the board.
"The key words were not Biden and not Burisma," he said. "The key was those proceedings which were closed or investigated by the previous leadership. In this large number of cases, there may be ones with these two words," he added. "No foreign or domestic politicians, officials or people who are not officials called me and tried to influence my decisions on specific criminal proceedings,” he made clear. "The prosecution service is beyond politics. We are conducting an audit of all cases, including those which were investigated by the previous leadership of the prosecutor’s office," he added. This comes a day after President Donald Trump told reporters on The White House lawn on Thursday that China and Ukraine should investigate 2020 Democrat presidential candidate Joe Biden and his son, Hunter Biden. "If they were honest about it, they'd start a major investigation into Bidens," Trump said. "It's a very simple answer ...
