Rep. Rashida Tlaib's grandmother Muftia Tlaib threw a fit over President Donald Trump calling her a "real winner" after Tlaib decided against visiting her in Israel.
"Trump tells me I should be happy Rashida is not coming. May God ruin him," Muftia Tlaib said.
Israel forbid Rashida Tlaib from entering the country due to calling for boycotts of the country. After Tlaib wrote a letter to Israel begging to enter to see her grandmother, they allowed Tlaib to enter.
But then, Tlaib decided against visiting Israel, writing, " I have decided that visiting my grandmother under these oppressive conditions stands against everything I believe in--fighting against racism, oppression & injustice."
"Rep. Tlaib wrote a letter to Israeli officials desperately wanting to visit her grandmother. Permission was quickly granted, whereupon Tlaib obnoxiously turned the approval down, a complete setup," Trump wrote.
"The only real winner here is Tlaib’s grandmother. She doesn’t have to see her now," Trump added.
