Cook County State's Attorney Kim Foxx dropped all 16 felony charges against "Empire" actor Jussie Smollett.
After dropping the charges against Smollett, Foxx recused herself. Soros donated $333,000 to Foxx's super PAC before her election in 2016 was over. After she won, Soros donated $75,000.
Smollett, who’s gay, claimed two men wearing masks shouted anti-gay, racial slurs, and "this is MAGA country." Smollett went further, adding, the two men put a rope around his neck and he was able to flee the scene.
The brothers were later arrested and admitted they purchased the rope that was later found around Smollet's neck. The brothers were paid $3,500 before traveling to Nigeria and were promised $500 when they returned to America.
